Once they start coming in sideways it's over, they're going to have to come out.

I have 3 of 4 wisdom teeth fully grown in... the top two are kind of a 45 degree angle outward but they don't collide at all and there's no pain. :shrug2:
 
mine are grown in pretty much all the way.. never had them removed

I had room for all of them in my jaw- just never had braces as a kid, so I didn't have my gaps closed... so one of them came in slightly impacted. All straight though. If I had gotten braces as a kid, I probably would have had room for two sets. :(

they usually go in, slice the gums, and then chisel the tooth into 4 parts (one peak per root more or less) and then yank it out.

Three of mine came right out- no obstruction. The last one came out in 3 sections. Weird. Anesthetic wore off while he was still cutting. Not fun.
