    holy shit!!!
i was outside doing yardwork for my mom
were building a box(from wood) in my backyard so we can put our pool up(20 foot across its a round pool)
    well this box is 24ftx24ft..
we built the box and my yard is on a hill..so we level the wooden box and one end is about 2.5 feet off the ground..so we had a truck deliver some dirt so we could level it out..
i worked from 11am to 8pm..and my back burns!!!
i am burnt..holy hell..what do you guys use to cure sunburn???
ill be working from 12pm tomorrow until atleast 8pm.so ill be getting crispy!!:D

You just worked a typical 8 hour shift with a 1 hour lunch... quit'yer bitchin' and welcome to the real world :)

They have stuff you can put on the burns but you can only use that stuff or sun block. Since you're working tomorrow, just use sun block until you're done, then start using the sun burn cream.

You should have put on sunscreen. Slather some aloe on your back and enjoy the pain, cause other than that there's nothing you can do. I personally enjoyed peeling off large layers of skin once it dries and peels off, but keeping aloe on it will help keep it from peeling off as much.

    1. Be black
    2. Have a Puerto Rican grandmother (it works for me)
    3. Use sunblock
    4. Rub yourself (or have your "really hot friend" do it) with aloe with litocane
    5. I've heard vinegar takes the edge off, I don't know if its apple cider vinegar, or just white vinegar, or some other kind, but a variety pack.

Aloe with litocane is the shit. White boy approved. When I'm down in North Carolina I put it on every night whether I think I'm really burnt or not.

    lotion with aloe.

    Not just straight aloe.

Man the fuck up. I do this for a living. Try it on a roof, 95degrees, 110 on the roof, burns your skin if you put your knee down and its complex carpentry, not digging.

I worked on a few roof mounted swamp coolers last summer. 103 outside feels like 503 on a fucking roof... shit sucks.

No no, you don't know hot until you've worked air conditioning. I've been in attics so hot you couldn't touch metal objects because they would burn you. 100 degrees outside is easily 150 degrees inside of a finished attic. Stick framed houses were hot, but a fully finished attic is a torture chamber.

In a 10 hour shift I'd drink a 24 pack of aquafina bottled water (the 16.9 ouncers). When you started getting dizzy and drunk feeling, it was time to step out, get a few bottles of water in you, then it was back to work!

    that sounds crappy!

i work out on the docks for about 8-9 hours a day with absolutely zero shade.... and im in south florida. the sun is exhausting after a few hours. lets just say i have a good tan :)

its hot as shit here and sometimes i have to spray my head down with water when i get overheated, but its probably not quite as bad as attics or roofs.

lol what do you think he'll do? go buy an aloe plant? Well I wouldn't put it past him really. Aloe lotion is what I meant anyway.

Phyre, I feel your pain on the attic heat. I've spent hours running wire in the heat. Even when its 80-90 outside, it still sucks being in a finished attic.
