Year of B16A in EK

How can i tell the year of manufacture for engine # B16A5422357HM now in my 1996 hatch (just bought, guys, fresh newbie!)

It came in from japan as a front cut-out and the import bill says only JHM EG6 1303168 I want to know what year engine I've got.

Also the front axle was swapped in.

EG6 would put it between 92-95. If you pull the VIN off the firewall than you can get the date the car was made, which would give you a better idea.

behind the exhaust manifold there is a stamp on the head....it kinda looks like a clock. Itll tell you the month and year of manufacture for that specific engine.
