Are you really willing to tear that header you just put on back off to replace it with a new manifold? Just seems like a pain in the ass to me. The F22 is the best one for turbo b/c of its low compression, but if you're only going to run little boost, you'd probably be better off with an H22 swap, N/A. They have 200 hp, they are vtecs, and they basically hook right up, but you do have to wire in the vtec, knock sensor,.... and something else, cant remember the name right now. It'd be a good learning experience for you, but I don't know if it's a good idea right now cause it seems you don't have too many people that can help you out if you get in a jam. I'd say just stick with the F22. Cheaper, not a bad engine and it'll last you a long time.

-to weld a flange on the exhaust to mount the turbo
-find a way to mate it to your down pipe
-set up vac lines to the wastegate to regulate boost
-run oil and coolant lines to the turbo
-drill a hole in the block for the oil return line

At 2 pounds I would expect somewhere between 8 and 16 gained horsepower. You can do more than 2 pounds, but I would't go any further than 4

My opinion is if you're gonna do all that, you might as well throw in some forged rods and pistons, better valves, and go for 10. But at that point you might start having tranny issues.

Basically turboing is very feasible, but there's alot to consider.

yes...the compresion ratio on a f22 is damn near perfect for turbo.

why would you weld a flange onto the exhaust when you can buy a turbo manifold? much easier and less work. and what would you possibly have to drill a hole in the block for?

Yeah no hole drilling required. Just get a moroso pan with a bung already in it or get a nut and weld that to the outside of your pan, which kinda forms your own bung.

The feed can either be T'd off of the factory pressure sending unit location or a sandwich plate for the filter can be used.

PSI is irrelevant, pick a power goal and build your car to achieve it.

2-4 psi? from what turbo? like stated above PSI is nothing. you can boost f22 plenty its all in the tune.

figure out what you power or racing goal is.... if you want to drag race at events or be sanctioned youll need to know the rules.

For you, Im gunna say no. Youve got a whole lot to learn still. Your still havin trouble doin simple things. Give it time, keep workin on your car and readin, then eventually youll be able to.

oil return line for the turbo, but apparently you can get a pan with that already. I keep forgetting about the massive amounts of aftermarket goodies available for hondas.

umm wat are you talking about? the return goes from the turbo to the oil pan. all you have to do is drill a hole in yours and weld a nut on or something of that sort. theres no need to buy a new pan

Woah woah, PLEASE don't give advice when you're unsure.

-Get a turbo manifold.
-Don't drill the block- just tap for oil feed using a split that you can get from home depot (usually doable at oil pressure sensor).
-Mate to downpipe??
-Oil return does NOT GO TO THE BLOCK, oil feed does- oil return goes to the pan.
-2 psi of boost is not possible unless he is running an extremely small useless turbo.

I would also recommend doing a frontmount- head bolts, and a thicker headgasket (thou the stock one is probably fine).

Turbo's I know. My last car was a 440ish awhp talon, before that a 800whp built '03 z06, '02 turbo'd s2k.

yeah i got the return and feed mixed up. Effed up my nomenclature so to speak. As I wasn't aware they make turbo manifolds for these cars. The cars I usually work on have pretty much no aftermarket available. So it's kinda a foreign thing for me.
