if you have a cr-x. just get a b18a swap and start there. it will cost about $1000 to get installed. get a suspension and brakes. learn how to drive. be done with it.

word..ls in a crx is pretty quick

not that quick.. my b16 eg ripped on one.. ..

but yea.. gonna have to agree on the b18a swap.. easiest and cheapest other than another d-series

yea thats what i've basically decided on. just not finding any in that 1000 price estiment

ok thanx. got one more question for u guys. my cr-x is sitting right now do to a few suspension issues. i figured id do the swap and suspension at the same time. i got it looked at by freedom tire in iowa. on the list of problems they listed cradle - bent? what is a cradle. cooudlnt find any info

i have never heard of that. you would need them to show you.

you won't get a GSR in there for 2700 bucks, let alone a type R.
both are out of your budget, considering the change over is going to run you more than your budget with shipping... and that's before you score a cable b16 or ls tranny (or retrofit your car to use hydrolics), mouts from hasport, etc, and all the misc fluids, tools you don't have, etc etc to get it done.

i figured that. tools, fluids stuff like that no problem. i wouldnt put it in my shop would do that for nothing. most parts would be in a full swap which is what im saving for. thanx for the input
