haha, i have sick of it all on cassette somewhere... the blue one. i forget the name of it. haven't listened to it in years.

The first two CDs that were ever in my house: Pantera: The Great Southern Trendkill :D and Alanis Morissette: Jagged Little Pill :eek:
 
My favorite unknown band is so bad-ass no one including myself has ever heard of them.
 
Tangerine Dream, my number 1 all time fave. Then the mainstream stuff:

Olive, Imogen Heap, Tanita Tikaram, Lamb, etc. Running into the wierd stuff, I like Hilary Stagg, Theilaxu, Lemonheads, spyra gyra, Rippingtons, Pat Methany, etc.

It's rare for me to find some Liz Story song that's just a few chords being held as long as possible, but I often ask everyone to shut up in the room when the Weather Channel plays it's "local on the 8s"
 
Clutch was on Viva La Bam. First time I heard of them but their good.

Hosmer- Hatebreed is pretty well known. At least around me. My whole HS wrestling team was obsessed.

Last Perfect Thing from Asbury Park
The Hand Drawn Epic from Ramsey (A friend is the guitarist)
The Matt Kozial Band from Linden (A friend is the bassist)
 
Unknown bands guys...unknown bands lol. Half these bands have shirts at Hot Topic or are on the radio, etc.
 
Define unknown ? Stannard Ridgeway only printed a few copies of his album, but he's in Wall of Voodoo. Wall of Voodoo isn't known at all these days until you mention "Mexican Radio", to which about 20% of the people say "Oh yeah!" and then move on with life.

I dont' know any Clutch songs. ergo, unknown to me.
