Well...color me stupid but did you ADJUST IT? Is this your first BBQ? You need to fiddle with
the mounting points of the hood....and maybe the fenders too. Your car been in an accident? Or
maybe the other car it used to be on was in an accident (before the hood....duh...I can read)
Its called checking your gaps. Sorry to be an ass but if all you did is based on all you wrote...you
haven't done really anything. The gaps need to be the exact same all the way down each fender
and the gaps on each side of the hood need to be even too. There are adjustments on the
hood....left fender...and right fender. Mess with them all to achieve even body lines.
Most of these stupid carbon fiber hood shut like crap too. I see so many guys rolling around with
a hood that takes them five minutes to shut 'properly'......and we wonder how we hear of Civic
owners who's hoods fly up on them down the highway.
Always Hood pins are so nice, tho i kept my stock latch cause of theifs in the area lol, but also I would look into fiberglass I love em, tho some here may no agree with me
if they lock.. even better
only way i'd ever run a CF hood is with hood pins.. that way i know it wont fly up..
but i'm w/ CAFROG ... you need to adjust it.. cant just bolt it on once and have everything line up...
