LS vs RS?

why use the b18a1 from ls teg and not the rs? ive searched hi and low and cannot find this answer, is it the wiring? is it the availablity of the ls vs the rs? any help apreciated

i thought the rs was only in the 94+ integra b18b1, and the ls and the rs are the same motor

No they have DA RS models. and you're right, the RS, LS, and GS all share the same motor.

OP- I think you're just getting confused because everyone refers to the b18a/b motors as LS motors. It's just something that came about for some reason.

the conversion is going to be the same regardless of what mpfi engine you swap in

thanks for the clarification. i have a whole donor car so all i need is the mounts and shift linkage then
