Boosting = Cheating
Two dudes enter a Free-For-All and sit in a corner with a tactical insertion. One dude just kills the other over and over. People do it to rank up, get their headshots, get nukes, etc. It's becoming a problem because they removed the cage match mode. All these idiots used to go in there and do it where it didn't effect anyone else, but now they have to do it in other game modes...
I don't care if people do it in FFA, that just gives you two free kills when you stumble across em.
When they do it on HC HQ it literally does effect everyone. If they're sitting in the corner on one side of the map, YOU will continually spawn on that side, even if the HQ is on the complete opposite side. Makes it a horrible game to play because the other team can then lock down their spots and you do nothing but spawn and die.
I've had games on HCHQ that I started 0-7, and eventually ended up at 7-25 because two boosting fuckwads wouldn't move.

Eh, it sucks pretty bad in FFA also. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten to 28-29 kills and then some douchenozzle booster wins it with 30. If you're cheating, I don't want you to win the game. It takes away from someone else's chance to win it legitimately.
And some of them are retarded (i.e. they talk on their mics about where to meet up, just keep going back to the same spot over and over, etc.). Those ones are easy to deal with. Others have it down to an art though, and it's difficult to stop them from winning the game, even if you do manage to kill them several times...
If it's a booster, then they usually re-insert right away, so I wait and get the second kill. If I just find one randomly (like somebody's actually using it the correct way), then I stamp them out until I get the challenge completed, and then I do what you do (claymore next to it)...

i went out last night, and went to a local car show a little after work today, but its too hot to be out.
but now that im just trying for headshots im getting between 10 and 15 a game, so theyre piling up fast. it only took me a few hours to jump the m4 up from 77 to 150.

I personally like to camp right behind the insert. If the dude has been camping the same room area.. chances are he is re-inserting as soon as he respawns. Sometimes I like to let them respawn, set their next tac, knife/HS/claymore, then repeat. They either wise up or I get 5-6 kills before I move on or kill them before they can insert again.
I love flashes for claymore kills too. Flash a corner camper, run in and place claymore right in front of them while they are facing it... watch for amusement "fuck...".
your last part... someone tried that on me once while i had scrambler pro on. it clicked but didnt explode so he ran back around the corner to me knifing him then running off.
