Smoked up some Pork ribs for dinner - Hands on Kitchen

Last night we picked up a weber 22.5" grill, some coal and some wood. Today, I made it happen.
Years of wanting to do it, I finally got my feet wet.

Kept the temps between 225-250o Started out with a dry rub, cooked them for about 1.5 hours then mopped them every half hour after that with apple juice, I then stacked them so they could drip juice on each other, at around the 5 hour mark when they looked good to me both tooth pick prick test, as with picking them up and looking at how they bent, I sauced them then let them cook for another 20 minutes.

Next week I plan on doing some turkey wings. =)

I have to say, I'm very happy with how they turned out considering I've never smoked before. Although I have cooked my share of ribs in the oven.

Looks damn good. Screw turkey wings, its all about the smoked turkey legs! I have get one every time I go to a Ren Fest.

I like wings because legs are always over done.

Same for buffalo wings, give me the little wingy things over those drumies anyday.

is that an actual smoker or just a Weber grill?

Im sure those were awesome.

Your supposed to soak the wood in h20 before wrapping it in tinfoil right?
