saw this earlier today. absolutely ridiculous, though im sure someone will find a reason to back the idea.
 
I still amazes me that people actually voted for him, especially enough to get him into office. I hope the public smartens up by next year.
 
i agree that america should get their debt straight before helping other people... but common sense is hard to grasp nowadays for so many people...
 
What would 14 trillion do here, IF we saved the $$$ less debt. But we could repair some roads that are needed, create some jobs, subsidize gas so people can spend their money on consumer goods instead of gas, etc. Our money could help us a lot more than sending it somewhere else.

i've had about enough of the gov't using taxpayers money to bail out these collapses due directly to greed, corruption, and lies. These people all got rich being shady fucks, and the rest of us are left with the tab for generations to come. Greece did not comply with the debt limitations set in place by the EU on its member countries, so now other people have to foot the bill cause daddy didn't take away their credit card? fuck that

and to make it even more transparent... they say they are paying all this money, and absorbing all this bad debt to save the economy
let me ask you, does the average joe have all their money wrapped into stocks, bonds, and other investments? or does the average joe spend all his money paying taxes, buying gas and food, and just trying to scrape by? this is just the rich making moves to protect their own wealth, cause they are the ones that are gonna be the most affected by an economic collapse

lets look at any politicians tax return vs anybody on this board
specifically sch's B and D, related to investment income and sale of securities

and the only difference between republicans and democrats is that democrats want to give away other people's money, and republicans are smart enough to realize its their money too
 
The reality of a 2 party system is that we are ruled by a bi-polar tyrant. Whichever "mood" has the reigns today is going to do whatever it wants.
