Plasmas suck power and get hot. if your generation rate is high, or you live in a hot climate, it WILL effect your energy costs. I think the energy star rating was like $40 on the plasma and $1.23 on the led i looked at. Then factor in the added a/c use in that room..... and the price of it over the next 5 years starts getting worse.
Get a smart tv with wireless and connections/inputs become useless.
I can beam direct from my galaxy s3 right to my tv. its fucking bad ass. (well, i could until i broke the damn screen.... )
plus with apps and intenral storage, its basically an endless supply of anything you want from netflix to amazon to a full web browser. Don't need to hook up a computer, or roku, or anything else besides a BD player. I'd be fine with just 1 connection, as that's all i need. I don't game, so may 2 if you do.
I also don't use a cable box. so 3 if you do.

All of that cabling would drive me nuts.
Not to mention using your phone/tablet as a remote control for your smart tv or surround receiver.
Just added this RX-V673 - RX-V - AV Receivers - Audio & Visual - Products - Yamaha United States to the entertainment system and couldn't be happier so far.
Next up are some in wall speakers for front, center and rear surround channels.

I had to do that with some applesauce. Only one was empty, the others were full. The applesauce tasted like fish.Only if you are within the allotted time frame. I lived with a Costco insider. People returning empty jars of pickles that came in multi-packs because one of the jars "tasted bad."
