Now i need some more Gmail/Outlook help

alright so i have a Gmail account. now how do i get an invite code? The reason is that when i started my account i used a name i didn't like, so i want to start a new one and have that as my main email now. I have had my hotmail account for a long time and i'm tired of all the spam i get in it, plus the Senate_9427 is fucking old, stupid kid shit.

I can't find anywhere in my account settings to get an invite code. help.

haha. I got it done. now i gotta go through all the mess of sending emails to contacts i want to keep, with my new addy.

is it possible to use Gmail w/ Outlook 2003? i'm having some trouble setting it up

I used the Google help center info to set up Outlook. When i set up the new account in Outlook, i did everything, but when i was testing the settings it failed to log onto the incoming mail server. it keeps asking for a username and password but my info for gmail wont work

you mean as the login name? i tried both and they don't work

e-mail: User@gmail.com
account name: user
outgoing requires auth. but not secure auth
incoming server: pop.gmail.com port: 995
outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com port: 465
BOTH SERVERS require SSL.

thats exactly how its set up, but when i glick on Test Account Settings, it completes each test except logging into the incoming mail server
