Hondaswap.com respects the concept of account closures for any reason. However, removing content can cause threads to lose their natural flow. Instead of 'delete everything' as a first course of action, we will work with you to 'clean up' any content that one wishes to be removed from public view. We can also anonomize the account by changing user names, email addresses, and other identifiable items.

Memorial Accounts

We understand the difficulty of losing someone. Active members of our forums are a part of our little family and we share the feelings of loss and grief of all our members who have passed. By default, when we hear of a member's passing, we move their account into the In Memoriam group and add a tasteful "Rest in Peace" banner under their avatar. If further details are known, such as the funeral home link and date of passing, we include them. If you would not like this to happen, please, let us know and we can discuss a more appropriate action for your loved one's account. We hope this helps to continue their legacy and impact on our community.
