That is a good idea. I dunno why I didn't think of that. So you pretty much just cut a piece out of the sheathing so the cable slides out farther..? Does it matter where you cut it out of?

You need to give more information. Is the motor and car obd0? If you did the swap then certainly you can look behind the passenger side carpet and count the blinks on the ECU. Have you gone over your wiring? Could your vtec be hooked up wrong? You need to give us as much information as...
