I have one of those strut bars around here somewhere. Had it on an EK sedan that I DD'd for a while some years back.

Can you fabricate? I know they have mounts to put K-series in this chassis, but I don't think they have mounts for auto transmission. Would need to be fabricated. Not sure on the ECU, but would likely need one of the K-series ECU's that can accept K-Pro, and then it would need to be tuned and...

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and letting it relearn idle? Worth a try if you haven't. You've already hit on everything else I would have checked.

My guy, just look for 4x100 wheels. Fitment Industries website is great for this. Just enter in your car and it will show you wheels that will bolt right on. As the others said, I think 16" is gonna be your sweet spot. That will be a big difference versus the 14" steelies, but not so big to...

I will add that these are decent engines for boosting on, but if that's not in the plans, then I'd ditch it for an H22 like the others said. Also, K-series is swappable in these now. A CB Accord with a K24 would be fun.

Yeah, anybody saying that is just talking without really having had any specific experience with these engines. 300hp out of a B-series without going to some sort of power adder (turbo, blower, nitrous, etc.) is really unrealistic. The newer K-series engines are what most Honda people build...

I've had fleeting interest in some of Honda's output over the years...the Fit, 9th-gen Si, CTR, TLX, etc. But yeah, nothing so appealing to where I seriously considered pulling the trigger. You're right about still not being able to compete with China cost wise, but I kind of get it...
