you should be able to get it bored out .010" over just fine (same as .25mm). don't do anything crazy like .030 or anything like that. But, it also depends on how deep of a scratch you are talking about. Worse comes to worse, you can get stock replacement sleeves if you want to go a little bigger...

When I talked to a guy at Darton, he told me that it's not recommended to go past 84.5mm with these sleeves. the main relay is about $50. The relays suck and that's what tends to go out on most circuit cards that has a shit load of relays on it (relay gets stuck, tap it to get it going until you can get a new part to replace it). :)
