torque is great for a stock exhaust engine. wheel hp is also acceptable for a stock muffler. the automatic cams is the reason power stoped climbing sharply at 6000 rpms and the stock exhaust is chokeing it up at 7000 rpms. i am getting a e cutout and replacing the small auto cams with larger...

next wek i have jdm camshafts going in, that should help even things out also i will zero out the camgears(i running a milled head )and add a cutout to the equation. i am shooting for 200whp with the oem exhaust. it chokes after 7000 rpms.

make sure you get it tuned so you dont wash out the rings

back from the dyno. they are going to email me the pics. we did four pulls 3 in 3rd gear, 1 in 4th with no crome tuning first pull was with the stock air box and exhaust. it made 174hp and 151 ft of torque next pull was with the disconnected intake pipe it made 182 hp and 154 ft of torque...

i will be going to the dyno today i know the car makes power past 7700rpm but thats what i have the limiter set to. when i see the graph then i will adjust the limiter based on power 8400rpms looks real good
