    p30 question

Crome is more for the DIYer. If you want Crome, but dont want to tune it yourself, find a Crome tuner near you. Then there is no software cost...only the cost of a chipped ECU and the tune. If you went Hondata...you'd be paying the $495 (or whatever it is), plus the cost of an ECU plus the...

    p30 question

Hondata are no where near the same price. Crome is $149 for the software. I think Hondata is at least $295 for the S200, if not more.

Tuning...B I know you can help

Crome Autotune works by inputting a wideband signal into the ECU. You setup a 'target' map (what the autotune should shoot for) Then as you drive around, Crome will fill up the actual recorded map and display it for you. As this fills up, another map (the % difference) fills up with the...

    WIRING HEELPPP!!

Hard to tell from pictures what the actually wiring issues are. I suggest you find a downloadable Helms or Haynes manual and study the wiring diagrams (this will take time). As far as the two ECUs. L02 is from a California car (different maps for emissions) and this is from a 90 integra. 90...

    Hondata or Crome

Wow, thanks for the plugs Brian. Yeah, I am another BIG supporter of Crome...it has far surpassed any of the other DIY stuff out there and even though the Pro version costs a little something, its worth it. If you arent sure about manning up and buying right away, I encourage you to D/L ECU...

    Better ECU, obd0 b16

Or start to take a good look at BRE (Ben Ogle's Rom Editor) He has a lot more support for PR3/PW0 roms...has boost working and datalogging as well. Elimination of the 2nd O2 and speed governor removed, blah blah blah. He is always looking for new testers to help develop the code further...

    what ecu to use

Or, if you are a DIYer, get a non-vtec OBD1 virgin ECU, chip it and convert it for VTEC. Should cost you $40 for the ECU and another $40 or so in parts for the chipping and VTEC conversion.

    p06 to p28

Well it depends on what board your P06 is, 1720 or 11F0 type? I have a complete parts kit with basic instructions for either board type, or if you have a P75 (1980) you can convert that to a VTEC ECU (P72 without knock board) You can convert any OBD1 PR4, P05, P06, P75 to a VTEC ECU...

    p72 or p28

Are you turbo? If you are just disable or remove the secondaries anyhow. If you need to control them with the P28, its as easy as adding a few components... http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Library/AddIABToP28 My opinion...the sell the P72 ECU for some nice coin on Ebay. Use the p28 and...
