...SIR 2 in my 95 coupe.. i SOMETIMES get a idle that goes from 1k to like 1,200 sometimes it only last for a couple revs.. and sometimes it will keep going.. **THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME!** and it only happnds when i come to a stop... any ideas wat u guys think this...

Idle screw....... (adjust) IAC (Idle Air Controll) (clean) if no results (replace) Lack of coolant...... (top her off) Air in your cooling system.. (bleed it by that little bleeder by the thermostat) if all else fails your fucked! jk. one of those shoudl doit...

but to answer your question about your redline.... honestly man you can ask as many people and look it up all day long.. but what u really should do. is make sure u got good/clean/ right amount of oil. take her on the freeway and in 3rd gear rev until u feel the actaul rocking of the motor...

wow u kids seem not to kno anything. u think u cant hit 40 at 2nd? IN MY B16A (HIGH COMPRESSION) whichs means i rev high at every gear.. im making vtec kick at like 35 mph in 2nd all the way to 45. third gear is my longest. i hit almost 75-80 in 3rd gear. and a bong and a mushroom dont...

yeah man. i had the same exact problem. annoying ass shit wouldnt go into gears........ i thought it could of been the hydrolic system so i bought new clutch master/slave.. didnt doit when i replaced my clutch, apperently they found a broken piece too haha

whatever you do, dont put anything higher then 5 w 30 over winter. youl crash burn and die. no im jk . but youl fark your motor.. and putting more oil then what should be there.. ehhh might just cause some smoke.. not that big of a deal

lol heres wat u need to do to get all that carbon rust out. take off your headers. spray them with degreaser then sand blastinside all the way out the muffler. HOLD YOUR CAR AT REDLINE (FLOORED IN NEUTRUAL) for about 1 min. just make sure u have plenty oil in there.. and you shoudl be fine...
