d-series motors do not have a knock sensor. If your throwing a check eng light you need to pull codes to see what the problem is.

Your screwed that is why you never put a obd1 motor in a obdII car. The only thing I suggest is to use your mad sex appeal to get somebody to pass it for you. :D

sounds like this vehicle was not ready to leave the garage. At least get the cooling system working before you drive it.

you also have to extend the v-tec wires, and if it is a jdm motor you will have one extra plug left over by the intake manifold for the purge solenoid. not needed on jdm motors.

tps is located on the back of the throttle body. You have to file knotches in the bolts to remove it. good luck

Yes I am very interested. I have a p28 that I will be running a b16 sirII, It has I/h/e and occasional 50 shot of juice. I would like the v-tec crossover around 4800 and no fuel cut off. also rev limiter to about 8600(for future mods). Let me know if this is possible.

do I have to get it the p28 chipped or can I just run the p30 and get a apexi vafc instead. w/the same results?

I have a JDM sirII that I am running a p30 ecu. I also have a p28 Usdm ecu that I was thinking about chipping to run the b16. which ecu should I use? can I chip the JDM p30? I am having Knock sensor problems that is why I was leaning more towards the chipped p28. o ya hondata's are too...

I think it is the connection to the ecu, too lazy haven't checked yet still runs pretty good though.

are you sure it is a 1, not a 10. check your iat sensor.
