From what I know, the D15b has a differene kind of vtec, I think like a 3 stage vtec. If you want to take full advantage of it, you should get the ecu that comes with the motor. Just a heads up.

Yea the LS' are heavier (16lbs.) and they are only 6 inches wide where I'm sure your P1's are under 15 lbs and at least 6.5" wide. 10.1 according to wheelweights.net

Look up some recent Honda Tuning magazine, it's been done with a dc.

rs is like the dx for the civic, lowest model. it has basic features. no moonroof, manual windows, so it's the lightest of them all. ls is a step up with a moonroof, power windows and locks a/c standard. gs is another step up with leather seats. gsr is a step up from that boasting the b18c1...

When I bought my dc it had a front end accident. I bought the jdm front end and put it on. I as well had to get the visual inspection to drive it on the road. I live in Cali, and the guy just looked around followed a checklist to make sure stuff worked and was put together. I hope that helps...

There are actually some DC's that came with the 1.6 sohc zc engine that he's talking about, but it never came out in the states. In japan it was called the Ti, Xi-G, and the Xi-4WD.
