Intercooler tubing, Aluminum VS Stainless VS Mild Steel

Use aluminum. Stainless steel will add unnecessary weight to your front end, and will cost you more in the long run for supplies.

Best Turbo Most Power For The Money

Installing a blockgaurd will distort the roundness and the straightness of the cylinder walls, requiring a hone to bring the cylinders back within spec.

    Refurbished good or no??

The zune is nice. I have one :) The software, however, sucks compared to iTunes. But what do you expect from microsoft?

    Peer To Peer?

Setting up the router was cake for me once I figured out how setup my static IP. I am such a networking noob, but the port-forwarding was a straight forward, logical setup.

    Just bought another new car

:werd: Those things have like 16 cup holders and 4 gloveboxes. Do you really need 4 gloveboxes? My one isn't even filled up. Woe to the person who fills all of the Yaris' compartments.

Ok so now Cali is trying to mandate which light bulbs to use?

:werd: We have a Lotus/Ferrari/Porsche/Volvo (I know, wtf are volvos doing there?) here in my town. I routinely see insanely beautiful women, dressed down in their jogging/running clothes, or in some skirt thing, or whatever, and it actually gets boring after a while. You realize there is more...

    Refurbished good or no??

Apple is not going to send you a battery. Besides, if you buy an iPod - even a refurbished one - from Apple with a warranty, the battery is covered, and all you have to do is ship it to them, and they ship you a refurbed one. The reason they sell the refurbished ones cheaper is because it IS a...

    Auto tensioner??

Pretty much a reliability issue. A lot of prelude owners have had difficulty with the auto tensioners getting screwed up somehow. They just aren't as reliable, especially when you start modifying the engine to make more power.

    good intake

Just buy one for a 91. They are not that hard to find. Most short rams are exactly the same, as they are designed to fit the manifold. My AEM cold air intake was cheap, is made specifically for the DA chassis, and fits perfectly with no modding. That being said, I say pick up a Password JDM...

    suspension...?

If you get a "coil-over" spring/perch set, at least get a set of matched or near matching shocks. Your stock shocks will likely blow out from the higher spring rate that the coilover spring has. Most hondas (exceptions: NEW hondas) have shocks and not struts. Not to be a dick, just know that...

How to tell if your valve seals are bad

since when does a set of OEM valves seals cost $5? It's more like 30. :)

How to tell if your valve seals are bad

Get the Snap-On one. Money well spent. All others suck for honda's DOHC heads. YA9140, Compressor, Valve Spring, Universal

    Bronze bushing for rods?

They usually use bronze valve guides to lower the friction between the valve stems and the guides: the same idea is used for wrist pins. Bronze bushings are used to lower friction (although I admit I have never seen it personally). If you want to have a rod for a pressed fit wrist pin, buy the...

    V-TEC cams on non-VTEC motor?

No, they will not fit. If you want extra horses in your non-vtec head, get a set of Crower 403 cams, or something comparable. They will probably cost around the same as a set of ITR cams, maybe even a little less if you shop patiently and wisely. Make sure to tune it as well.

    axels

And they are only around 65-70 per side. Double that for OEM, and they are still only rebuilds.

    axels

I am using Napa halfshafts, and they are holding up just fine since I replaced my motor mounts. And they have a lifetime warranty on them. I replaced the right side twice before replacing the mounts, for free. :)

    suspension...?

A set of good coilovers would be a waste for a 1/4 mile racer, unless you are spending GOBS of money on the rest of your car. Just get a suspension with a bit stiffer springs and matched dampers to minimize any unnecessary weight transfer to the rear, annd you'll be fine.
