apexi ws is great. my intake makes more noise than that thing does. i have never been stopped for my exhaust, which is also a good thing. ws hands down

what other mods do you have? sounds like your wasting your money unless you are running high comp pistons, and some radical cams. even with a 647892 mm tb and no internals, you wont gain shit all motor period.
check that your valve lash is at spec. if one of your valves (or all of them) is not closing fully, you will lose compression. i would definately bring it to another shop to have it checked out. it sounds like the shop that did the work did a half assed rush job on it. your engine should be...
:withstupid: hone the block so the rings make a good seal. change all bearings and clean it up a bit while youre in there. if you dont, you may find yourself tearing it apart a second time.

turning a gsr into a type r will not be worth your time or money. boost the gsr and you will beat a type r in a straight line. the type r will take you in the turns if you are running a stock suspension. btw- this thread sucks
