Man, this thing has been an awesome automobile to own. I cant say enough good things about how well Honda built this car, the new motor, the CVT...everything is spot on.
Well folks its been awhile, we have got a new Fall king so I thought I would share him with you all here.
Congrats to 2014 Honda208 Fall King - slohatch/JoshI will be the first to admit that the I was shocked when this trade went down. However Josh has really made an effort with this Accord to...
It gets mid to high 30s around town on average as well, never lower than 34. I will tell you working for Toyota has had me playing with the CVT for the last Corolla new model year, I was instantly intrigued but they just didn't feel right to me. I was a little excited when I heard the 2015 fits...
Strike a pose. A cool picture from our Cali trip.
Also I little goody I ordered, just because I like to look.
The gas mileage this thing gets is amazing, but I have to say the CVT makes driving this thing a blast. Its a whole new way to enjoy an automatic.
Most reputable shops don't raise rates based on the make/model...I have to live that sad truth on the daily.
Working at a shop I see these on a lot of newer cars, especially those that are all about the MPGs. It may take a couple minutes to pop the clips and pull the panels...I just didn't...
All plated up and ready for our road trip to Disneyland.
Also had some free time so I pulled it on the rack today to look at the underside...its very covered and I was not ready to remove anything just yet. Front to back.
Looking from the back to the front.
No B...I am setting the...
Who needs a clutch when I paddle shifters...that don't really shift anything, lol. At least Honda added bumps to make it feel shifty.
This was the only one in Idaho at the time, I didn't have a lot of choices. Only color I didn't want was black, so I am still happy.
Info
This is my anti-build thread. This car will be unmolested for the next 7 years / 100k miles, get used to it now. The Fit EX-L is top of the line, only option I passed on was navigation. I will have many adventures in this car, buy many useful OEM accessories, and put many miles on it. I...
Info:
You all can blame the CR-V for this. It opened me up to a side of Honda I had never explored. I bought the hotbox because I had been wanting a new gen Honda of some sort, it almost ended up being a Ridgeline, but obviously...it was an Element. I plan on making this my DD/mini-build...
Here are some updated pics of the Integra, it was up for sale but I was not getting offers over 2k so I said screw it I will keep it in the garage for a few years.
Here is this years spring king.
Congrats to our 2014 Honda208 Spring King - Marcuskars/Marcus
In the short time Marcus has owned this wagon he has made some very good progress with it. Its the attention to the little things that has caught most of our attention with this build, I hope in the...
Its been a while but I thought I would update you guys a little on our little community over here.
We just had our 3rd annual spring potluck meet and voted on a spring king. Here are some pics, due to weather we had about 15 less cars than last year show up. Also my brother from another mother...
Thanks guy, our forum just got invited for the second year in a row to participate in a local toys for tots event that some of the other automotive groups take part in. That will be in December, stay tuned.
Its a 95 GSR, this kid is still in highschool, works 2 jobs for the summers, and has built a nice clean car. It was rough when he got it, and I am glad to see a young kid who is not into ridiculous offsets and camber.
Its been awhile since I have been able to update this thread but much has happened in the last little while with our forum. We recently upgraded to vB 4.2.2, its great software and a huge personal goal achieved. We have recently announced our 2013 Fall King, one young kid keeping it clean...
