dude ive got a 91 Civic Si w/ B16A..i drive it everday..shop installed..shit runs great..and ill let go for 2k..
and ive got kids calling me tellin me theyll give 1000 before they even see the car..shit is horrible..
whats up peoples..i recently had to change my alternator belt..i got the right one..np..put it on..but now i get a weird wine sound when i drive and give it gas..the belt has a little play to it...
is this noise from the belt being too tight or too loose?..any help would be appreciated..
OK..cracked my shit open today..found out that the lower ball joint on the left side is shot...bushing is split and grease everywhere...
also the outer tie rod is loose as fuck on the left side..i can literally move it with my arm no problem..now what exactly would i have to get to replace...
how would i know which ones are bad?..(inner and outer tie rods)..is there any visible or mechanical symptoms that will help distribute which ones are bad..
also what about the wheel bearings?...what are the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing?..do they a particular noise?...

sup fellas..91 Civic Si B16A..my steering feels loose..when im driving i have about 2 inches of play in the steering wheel without the actual wheels/tires turning..got new shox/springs..but my front end feels loose..even makes a loose noise when i hit pot holes and shit..somebody told me my TIE...

91 Civic B16A..pretty sure its a place racing Throttle bracket..im having trouble increasing my idle..my shit runs at 5-6 now on idle..which is too low giving the vibrations i get with the place racing...
shit..i just replaced my radiator bout 3 months ago..didnt know that info till now..i ended up just getting a all aluminum rad..but i deff appreciated the info on the website..the a/c and fan is all comin out very soon..as i have the time from work and shit..cant wait to yank that shit...
yeah my a/c is coming out soon..the compressor is shot..and i choose to get rid of all the xtra weight and clutter under the hood..so i guess ill be pulling out the smaller fan in front of headers then..i need the room..appreciate the help..JR
sup..91 Civic Si B16A...i have 2 fans against the radiator in the front of the car..when the swap was performed they rigged the therostat so that the 2 fans run all the time..do i need both of these fans..if not which one is more important then another..theres a smaller one in front of the...
my take on this is:
i owned a 98 Integra LS..(Bone Ass Stock)..i think i had a DC Sport Shifter knob..j/k...
and i would run low 16's daily..LS can run faster STOCK without a B16A HEAD then what u posted..so something isnt right..its either the CAR or the DRIVER..
and i mean no disrespect..im...
my a/c compressor is shot and i want to remove it..i have B16A in 91 si..i know the unit is empty of Freeion..so im gonna remove the lines and the compressor..all that shit..is there anything i should know before removing that could fuck my swap up..(wiring Harness)??? or something like...
sup homies..ive got a 91 Civic w/ B16A and my A/C compressor is shot..so im going to take out the A/C unit..Is it OK to remove the A/C Belt for the time being..all my motor needs is the Alternator Belt to be on the crank pulley correct???..any help would be appreciated..JR
