I am doing the same build. I bought a used b18a from a junk yard. ended up having to buy a new head. Anyways im shooting for around 240 n/a. I bought forged internals. eagle rods and weisco pistons for right at $1000. You should then also have the crank pollished and buy new bearings for it. I...
Okay I'm ready to start messing around with my engine tuning. I would like to have a laptop in my car for all the engine management, and tuning. I don't really know much about all this yet. Will I need a special ecu to start off with and then what kind of tuning programs are out there that will...
Ok I have heard a couple different things. I have a b18a and am planning on running nitrous. I have heard that when you run with nitrous that not porting and polishing the head helps stiring up the air and nitrous for better combustion. Is this true? because if not I would like to port and...
I am swapping in a B18a into my 95 civic. I do not have my transmission yet because im not sure which i want. I will have about 200hp+ n/a and then about 300 with nitrous. Im not sure whether i should go with an si tranny or gsr tranny for my combo. About where would an si top out on the...

kinda sounds like a blown head gasket. when you washed it the water should evaporate soon enough and be fine. you could have fouled a plug though. replace them. how bad were you leaking oil.
What parts are you running have you upgraded your cooling system. I would recomend that anytime you go turbo, What size turbo, how much boost, and intercooler. need to know. Also with most turbo b series engines in a civic the turbo and turbo manifold sit verry close to your fan and wires. Wrap...
Its the idle air control valve most likely. all honda will start doing it soon enough. Its very common. im about 100 percent sure its that. my 95 civic dx d15b7 had the same problem. any my buddies 93 integra. cheap part so nothing to loose. good luck
Use the si ac compressor. U might be able to use your old one but u will need the si brackets. u can use your old throttle body cable no problem. Im pretty sure im right on all that. add any more questions if u have them. good luck. do lots of research and talk to a shop around you.
cool swap im dropping in a 93 b18a into my 95 civic. much the same but mine is 0bd1. hes right on everything. I would definately get new mounts. hasport.com makes a lot of good products you should check out. Going from auto to manual. I have never done that but I believe any 94 01 bseries hydro...
Today I bought a F1 stage 3 clutch and lightweight 8lb flywheel. I will be running it in my 95 civic with a B18a with 200hp na to 300nitrous. Good deal i got it through work for wholesale price at 240.00 Does anyone have any experience with these clutches, and know how they perform. Do they...
yeah first check the mounts. Thats probably your prob. Is your check engine light on. Its could also be your timing also. If your stopping and shaking bad could be your rotors. I would expect the car to shake during shift changes, but not constantly during acceleration if its a mount. Kinda...
okay I bought a used crank pulley today its stock so Im pretty sure I should be safe there. Someone told me today to go with a dry sump oil system or something like that? with an electric oil pump. I don't think I wanna do that its money I don't wanna spend but he said it would eliminat any...

im trying to find stock harmonic ballancer, and the aftermarket is cheaper. anyone have one for cheaper or for trade. I think im just gonna go with the stock harmonic ballancer but mine has a huge chip taken off of it. Need a new one. I just don't think a lightened harmonic ballancer is really...
First off last question I don't know about sounds like a bad idea how would it work. do they even have the same stroke? Ok now about the block guards. Block guards are a good idea for any high horse power application up to about 400. anything over needs to be sleved. The thing about a block...
