Its not the best work i've ever seen. A shop that does okay work would be 'Extreme FX'. I really hope that's how the spell it. Look them up. I know of a few ppl that had there stuff done from them. Its not too bad at all. But i'm not too sure how much they charge.
I think for a great drop in cam with very little tuning, would BCIII+. They have great mid to high power. BCIII+ will work with CTR v. springs as long you don't pass stock redline. M24x i think is a bit too much. But there are ppl who do run them. And have great sucess.
As for a header...
That's going to be a really easy swap. You don't have to wire for VTEC since your car has it. Its pretty striaght forward. You can use the axles from a Del Sol. Should be fine as long the half shaft is the same as the Del Sol one. The knock sensor you can forget about. You don't need it...
Your going to need the dizzy, injectors(there is a mod so you can keep OBD0 injectors), maybe the alternator is the plug is different, and also the IAC(This could have a different plug). I believe that's it!
Yo man...you can run 15x7.5's if you want. But really depends on how low your car is? I know of friends that drive on 7.5's in the front for autoX. I think if you want to run 8's in the front you might have to get rid of the wheel liners and might have to roll the fender a bit!
Don't forget when you want to put CTR pistons in your B16A your going to have shave the connecting rod. CTR pistons are narrower where the wrist pin is! But, any machine shop can do that for you.
Have you looked at the spark plugs? That can give you a good clue to see what happened to the engine. If they look good, try a compression test or leak down test.
Hope that helps!
Hey,
mmm...in Edmonton i would say maybe Top Performance or Garage Works. I don't have there number tho. If you willing to go to Calgary, maybe Speedtech, and Tunerworks. Again no numbers man! Sorry! If your really really want to head out west to Van, there lots of shops. AJ(no subs or...
Really! I thought all OBD1 cars came with 4 wire 02 sensors. I've done a few swaps and never ran into this problem of a single wire 02 on a OBD1 car? Strange. Well your going to have to find out from the ecu pin out where the other 3 wires are from.
