Like B stated block guards do more harm than good.
Picture it like this:
With boost pushing your motor, your motor is operating at higher temperatures. Therefore needing all the cooling it can get, block guards restrict the flow of coolant to the top of your motor.

So my plan is to swap my D15B6 motor from my 1989 CRX HF into my 1990 Si hatch. But before you guys start asking me the typical why would you want to do that questions hear me out.
The story:
The motor(D15B6) in my 1989 CRX HF runs perfect no issues what so ever. But the body is f#$*%d up...
Clutch slippage?
Valve lash?
It sounds to me like once it has to apply real force(I use real force, because on stands there is no resistance on its rotation) then it starts to bog.
But thats just my 2cents!
