each of those 12 monitors cost 2200, so that's 26,400 right there.
plus the computers to run it... each monitor requires 2 DVI inputs.
i don't know where'd you'd get a motherboard to support that.. it's got to be a cluster of some sorts...

the cooling fans and shit...

then there is the 5 apple monitors... those are around 3 g's each i think

uh..... fucking wow, i was way off

3G's for an apple monitor? why???

Well take that 26,400 for the monitors and add in 6 video cars ("cheapest" is 540). Thats roughly 30,000! for the screen setup alone.

Im sure he's running 3 SLI systems and if you noticed, most of the time, 4 screens are used for 1 picture at the max. So I dont think hes linked them all together yet because there is no single shot with all 12 LCDs sharing the image. It did say Quake 3 and all 12 but there is no picture. And only Linux can do that right? Use more than 4 monitors...

50 LCDs FTW

9xmedia sells multiple monitor setups.. pricey though..
we have dual flat panels at work cause we need them. but it is worthless for anything else
