a quad 19" monitor setup...?

thats alot of windows

I have 6 VGA outputs on my PC now and 4 DVI outputs, and enough onboard ram to keep them at top resolution.

At work I have quad 17"s at my desk, and here I only have the 1 17" Dell e series. What I'm waiting for is "Lot of 4 Dell E17FP .. $100" ad on ebay so I can complete this sonuvabitch.

who cares. it will only end up breaking in a few months anyway. F dell

our Dells in the house have been going strong for a while. We have had the 19" Dell for 4 years now (Paid $900 for it through combining several discount programs.. it was a $1600 monitor)

But that, like TVs, reduce in quality. I remember our first Television was a formica Curtis Mathis and it worked fine.. our next TV (A 21" Sony Console purchased in 1984) is still going strong at my uncle's place. My dad is still using the Mitsubishi console after 12 years.

All in all, you were all born in the wrong time. Buying a new TV every 4 or so years is not what life used to be like. Also, these TVs used to cost the same dollar amount that they do today (Making them hella expensive).

4 years ago, i would have told you to buy a dell.
hell, even 3 years ago i would have.

and then they got cheap, and everyone and their mother bought a dell.... and their quality went down hill.

it used to be that all the hardcore computer nerds in college had dells.
now, if you have a dell, you're laughed at.

Four wide? Two-by-two?

Multimonitor setups rule all.

it a nice monitor but for that price I'd get a 36" lcd and still have money left over. hell my roommate only paid 1600 for his Sharp Aquos lcd

Hell, i plug my pc into my 32" LCD tv....now thats hot!...Playing Counter Strike on the bitch is sweet

1 wide right period. I can't afford all the displays. I have the Matrox 4xG200 PCI card and then the dual DVI2 ports off the back of the video card. If I play my cards right, I can have 8 displays.

i have a 46" dlp samsung tv, but the resolution is terrible.. that is why you can't use a fucking tv for a computer monitor. i have that in the 3rd s-video output so i can watch widescreen porn and family guy episodes.

i'll say it again...

samsung makes the actual LCD display for dell... are samsung shitty then?
every monitor i own is samsung, including my tv.

using dvi isn't going to change the fact that the resolution of the tv sucks compared to a computer monitor...

and samsung makes the damn LCD!!

and i never said i was going to buy it....

and that 32" samsung is sweet...
