You could rent a hoist for like $20 a day if you changed your mind and decided to do it yourself.

For the ecu just look at the reference section of this site it'll tell ya what goes with the y8.
 
trust me looking bac on that I know now lol. but yeah i didn't have a hoist and I know a d-series block isn't all that heavy. so I kind of ghetto rigged a make shift kind of brace underneath the motor on top of a 2 ton jack and figured once I had the block all disconnected I would raise the jack up as much as I could and have a buddy of mine (if needed) help me lift the block off of that. but it didn't get that far. but yeah do you know which ecu goes to this motor? I have seen a couple different ones that were listed as compatiable, but I don't wanna buy one that isn't the best option for me.
