i have one simple question.

what is a 97 type SH with no airbags, a leaky oil pan, accident history,158k, and in need of a new paint job worth?

well it depends, if the airbags was removed then not to bad around 300 prolly, but if it was hit you have to replace the sensors as well so im guessing over 500

i suppose it could be worse, you talking mechanic work or DIY?

are replacing airbags DIY hard? do you have any personal experience???

yeah i replaced the ones i a del sol i had its easy just make sure the battery is off and its a plug and play the go right in and mount right up, but after your done you will have to get the srs light reset at the dealer

no way around going to a dealer for the srs?

there is some diy steps on resetting the srs but if you do it wrong the air bag will go off, i forgot how to do it but im sure google will make short work of it

google made it really freaking easy. plug in, unplug, plug in, unplug. turn off car. done.
