6th Gen Ex Ecu In Dx W/ex Intake Manifold

if i put the ecu from a 6th gen civic ex into a 6th gen dx civic with the ex intake manifold would i gain anything, are there different fuel and ignition maps? would it not work above vtec engagement rpm? what kind of troubles might i run into? thanks

I think the OBD2 ECU's have a limp mode for certain CEL's. you would probably be stuck in this limp mode. The Y8 intake manifold is a good mod though. Your DX ECU will modify the amount of air and fuel it uses after you do the swap.
