Higher average temperatures lead to larger reptiles.

One of my friends posted a story about climate change on Facebook. The data was supposedly compiled by NASA, and concluded that the rise in average temperature from 1880 to 2005 was due solely to increased carbon emissions.

Personally, I would say that any rise in population will lead to a rise in carbon emissions. However, the carbon cycle states that any carbon dioxide we exhale was already part of the carbon cycle.

With this line of thinking, the carbon we are releasing through the burning of coal and petroleum was alredy part of the carbon cycle. We are merely restoring the earth to its prior glory.

Long live the dinosaurs!
