OK. Im trying to buy a 2dr 94 civic ex(5spd). I was wondering wat would i have to do to it, to get it to run 13's. I plan on getting either a b16 sir II, a ls/vtec set up, or find a gsr b18c(if i can). Whatever i get i plan on getting turbo. I dont want nitrious. The mods i will have is a full exhaust,fuel rail, rugulator,intake,cam gears, pulleys,pistons, maybe rods. will that stuff with one of those motors run 13's, and do i need anything else..
 
There was an article in SCC, it was a 5th gen HB with the following:

B16a (from Del sol VTEC)
ITR head - (if you cant find a ITR head maybe just the cams+port&polish)
ITR tranny (LSD :worthy: )
Bolt ons (I/H/E)
ECU Chipped

He ran 13.18.

(the coupe would obviously be a little slower)


N/A B18C GSR will definitly get you there to with so work.

N/A B18C GSR will definitly get you there to with so work.

:bs: , he had to have a hell of a lot more work than that. if you're lookin' for cost effective 13's... ls/t is for you, if not, go gsr/t.

Though I have heard of a gutted D16Z6 hatch on slicks hitting the high 13's low 14's with I/H/E and a 60 shot,so I would imagine that if you were in similar conditions trackwise and did a little more work to yours,you could get there.
