95 D15y Engine Tranny

I wanted to replace the tranny on my 95 Civic Dx with a D15y engine. I want something that is manual and will bold right on to the engine. I also want something better than the stock transmission on my car. Any suggestions or advice will be extremely appreciated. What would I need to complete the switch and how hard would it be to do?

Sorry. I made a mistake. I have a D15B7 not a D15Y.

D-series trannies are considered pretty weak,but ur best bet is to get a D16y8 tranny....there suppose to be the best ones er something as far as d-series go.....
