95 Del Sol mess

Bought a 95 Civic Del Sol whicch has a D16Z6 VTEC engine swapped by a previous owner. Running real rough at higher RPM's and going through gass like crazy. Trying to find out what model this thing came out of, local Honda dealers no heelp. Do I neeed to swap out the ECM and wiring harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the D16Z6 is the engine that came in the 93-95 del sol si as well as the 92-95 civic si and ex
it uses the P28 ECU

what model del sol do you have?
in 95 there was the S, Si, and VTEC

wire up the VTEC and put a P28 in there
should be about as direct of a swap as possible
