I traded my motorcycle for the 97 LS. He must have known darn well what the car needed. I recently found out that the block is not the same year. I am guessing it is from a 94-95 because it has no provisions to hook up the CKF sensor. Now I cant pass CA Smog test because the OBD2 computer is looking for the CKF sensor(p1337). The engine idles constantly at or around 1800-2000 RPM. The ECU is a P75 and I have no clue what year that is from either. The questions I have are as follows:
1. Can I just swap out the oil pump to gain the required connections for the Crank Sensor?
2. Is there a way to fool the ECU into thinking it has the CKF sensor?
I am new to the Honda World but I am facinated by how the parts pretty much all interchange with each other.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
