99 auto to manual

I'm soon to be swapping my friends car from auto to manual, I got one question. Will a d15b7 tranny from a 94 fit in the 99 body using the 99 mount? not the best selection in tranny but you do with what you can get for cheap. It'll be a dx tranny on a d16y8....

pretty much all d series trannys fit on all d series engines that is 92-00 hope that helps you

yeah that's what i hear but i also hear that the tranny wont work with it so i dunno...

I am 99% sure it will work just fine but you have to have the 96-00 manual tranny mount (get it from the salvage yard... $20) I did a auto to manual swap in a 98 civic and thats what i had to do. (if i remember correctly is been over a year.)
