am swapping a h22 into my civic

It want swap a h22 to my civic

my is automatic i want to leave it a automatic

do i use a accord auto tranmission or prelude automission


or can i be done with auto tranmission

Use prelude tranny, it has closer gear ratios. It can be done with both but the prelude tranny is alot better from what ive heard.

but don't get the automatic tranny with the motor- from what i've heard, JDM motors that came with the auto tranny had lower hp numbers than the manual

cam grind is slightly different....you could use either, they will bolt up....just dont get the new prelude auto tranny with the tiptronic crap...
