I got a sony media player that has amazon prime on it if you want it. It's old and slow but works fine for their crap.

I have chromecast for netflix and plex. Mostly only watch prime on my kindle hdx at the gym. I REALLY like checking out 1 book a month for free on prime and some of the other offers. I read often.

what tv do you have? i've had the amazon app on my samsung for a few years now.

hoenstly, i'm not sure if it replaces netflix for me.

i have both.

i watch netflix 99% of the time.

amazon has few things above netflix. netflix has some pretty good series.


if anything, i'm going to ditch cable, again. I just got it for the first time this year... and i'm finding that I pretty much watch 4 channels and it's always crap i've seen before (history/discovery/etc). If there was a 'day after' paid service, like hulu should have been, i'd be all over it.
