Anti theft code doesn't work

I have a '94 Honda Accord (just purchased for my son) the battery was disconnected for repairs and, of course, now the radio anti- theft system is engaged. I have the dealer card with the code but can't get it to work. Is there some trick that I'm missing? HELP!!

I think it has a pretty detailed procedure as to how to do it.
If it does work please post up letting everyone else know that this info is worth keeping.

try disconnecting the battery again.. then put in the code
