no he told me to measure it since they dont have it listed they had no idea, and that they needed the measurements to make sure I got the right head studs.vtecsir1 said:cool, maybe arp told you to measure just so they werent liable or something.
it makes perfect sense. honda uses the same bolts for both the gsr and type r, and so should you.cypher said:not making any sense but im stayin outta it
Why would it be any different? The difference is in the length between GSR/ITR and B16. The difference in length is determined by how deep the stud goes into the block. Stud or bolt, they both should go the same depth into the block, it makes no difference, you're still accomplishing the same thing.B16RacerN2NR said:I'm sure Honda uses GSR headbolts on the ITR but my guess is that because they are just that, headbolts. We are talking about what "studs" to use. Now I don't know if there is anything different in determining how to measure studs but i'm sure ARP would know.
I don't know why it would be different, but according to ARP it is for some reason. Everyone i've talked to has zero complaints about ARP, including you. So maybe they know something we don't.B16 said:Why would it be any different?
