B16/D16y7vtec swap

I was thinking of swapin my d16y7 in my 00 Ek hatch with either a B16 or a D16y7 vtec. I was wondering what you guys think the best way to go is price wise, and performance wise. I dont really know prices for engine swaps since i have never done one so if you could tell me some average prices for each that would be dope. Thinkin to spend about 1.5k at most.

i doubt you'll get a b16 plus installation for 1500. Like stated, just turbo what you have.
