That doesn't look good, hopefully you can get it cleaned up good... I guess it could cause a power loss, kinda odd tho..

damn that sucks man... you dont have a backup flywheel?

could've been a lot worse. I wouldn't of thought to look in there either until everything else was apart.

I vote they came loose.. That way I don't look like an arsehole. :)

Well...

It made it through a dyno session!! Lol. Still kinda low on power, thinking cams..

183whp/125tq

At least it revvs past 9k which will help with my gearing

Looks like I'll make time trials on the 19th! :)

yeah something is definitely not right there... thats less than my internally stock B18C/R with bolt ons

those are almost identical numbers to what i put down with blown rings. after new rings went in it was much better but i dont think your issue are rings. i was very pissed about this dyno but atleast i got it fixed with the rings and it was around the 200 mark.

i had a gsr with about 11:3.1 comp, pnp head, skunk pro1s

whats holding you back power wise? you mentioned cams?

im gonna say lack of headwork. or the cam timing might not be optimal? did they tune the cam gears at all? i dunno man. its hard to think there is something else wrong thats holding you back, youve torn this engine apart so many times now.

my car is putting down more power and torque, and i have less compression. but i also have portflow headwork. what does your AFR curve look like?

edit: fixed your huge ass pic asshole :)

Curve would look great if it was making more torque across the powerband. It is making power into 9k at least.

Ian, I'm not sure. With this same head and CTR cams on my stock B16 bottom end made 174whp on the same dyno. We did play with cam timing; it didn't do much. This was with exh +2 and int +1.

Compression is good so rings must be ok. Maybe they haven't had time to really seat? This run was taken with about 9 miles on the motor. AFR was around 13:1 if I remember? Leaning it out more didn't help much either. Only other thing is maybe these cams? Duration is low on these but they have good lift. Intake - 12.59mm 255@0.050. Exhaust -12.54mm 256@0.050.

Thanks for fixing the pic. :)

honeslty, it's dead at 8200. Buy 8400, you almost might as well shift.

try going to -1 on the intake cam.
