That change to the QoS scheduler really does work!

Was 4.6 megabits per second, now I'm getting 11.9!
 
2.8 megabits per second
Communications 2.8 megabits per second

1MB file download 3 seconds

charter cheap service. the 6mb service costs like 20 more.

That's on a comcast cable modem, here in CT

and a better way to get rid of the QoS crap in windows, is
right click, My network places > properties, right click network addapter>properties, in the list for This computer uses the following items:
remove The Qos Packet Scheduler

that's the first damn thing I do with any new windows install

What the hell do you change? I entered gpedit.msc into run, and got a control panel, now what?

I did it, and it didn't change anything.
 
I got 5.7 first time out then did it 10 secs later and got a 2.5 then did it again and got a 3.8 then it said NO MORE FOR YOU!

they limit it to 3 times.
