well she was already planning on moving, all this has done is put a "!" on the idea. This guy turns out had already been evicted and was supposed to be out on Friday. After he was locked up last night they called his family to come get his stuff and now he has a no contact order with the complex. If he even steps foot on the property it's jail time . Her dad thinks she should take gun classes, I'm thinking more along the lines of self defense. Yeah your damn right I wish I would gave got there in time to lay into him, but then there's always trouble when trying to stop.... Just glad it's over, I'll see him again.

Self defense / martial arts are the way to go- it's still easy for someone to take the gun away and use it against you. If you yourself are the weapon, it means that you're always ready, and you don't have to rely on a tool to do the job.

I have yet in real life seen anyone take a gun away from somebody,and use it on them.If someone can get to you and get your gun then you weren't going to shoot them anyway.

my reason stems from the fact she keeps like 30087656433 knives in her apartment in case someone tries to harm her. Know how many she had when it happened, 0. She needs to be a weapon. I've studied Takewondo since I was 12, once it becomes second nature it's very efective. Although, IMO, it actually hinders you until it becomes second nature.

UPDATE- I just got in from giving my statement to the detective. Turns out this guy was aressted in another State for similar behavior, and is a suspect for another case. A man of his discription driving an SUV like his has been flashing little girls and trying to get them to get in his car. He was also fired from his job working the grounds of the apartment complex for using the office computer to find porn, he was later convicted.
