best exhaust size w/Z6

i am building a Z6, nothin fancy just port and polish head and intake mani and port matching them. balanceing the stock bottom end. Bored .020 over to clean up cyl walls.
i have an Ebay chrome header that is 2" on the collector.
for a muffler i'm getting the flowmaster axle back. its a 2" pipe also.
i know 2" all the way seems logical but i don't want to loose all my back pressure.

this is all going in an 88 civic DX and the stock pipeing is like 1.6" i think

2" is fine for a lightly built Z6. I wouldn't dwell to much on backpressure.
