Bl6 A2 swap ECU question

I heard to swap my B 16 A2 into my honda civic LX i need a 96-97 ecu

off a del sol DOHC v-tec to make it work. If this is true yet me know ,and any

cheap way i can get this ecu for my car. Thanx

B16A2 is an OBD1 out of a Del sol or JDM SIR or whatever. IT would use a P30 (i think( ecu and you'd need an OBD2 to OBD1 pigtail connector. Check out skunk2 or lowcash racing.

If you mean an OBD2 B16A3 (OBD2 Del sol vtec or 99-00SI) then you'd want a 97 Del Sol ecu, SI ecu, or a OBD2 EX or GSR ecu that's been chipped for your motor.

hi I have the 99 si engine off a civic but to fit firewall harness to ecu i need the 97 del sol v-tec ecu and wire up four more things then it will be correct does this sound right and its to a 97 honda civic LX.
